The Harding Club: since 1923, a Jewish social club for men interested in Camaraderie, Community, Philanthropy and Jewish Culture
Then next meeting of the Harding Club will be
October 28, 2015
It is a special meeting to discuss and vote on changes in
the club's Constitution and By-Laws.
Proposed is a change to become a
501(c)(7) tax-exempt corporation.
Place: Italian Center, 227 Mill Street
Elaine Hayes, Executive Director of the
Mount Gulian Historic Site,
spoke at the September 30, 2015 meeting.
The site has been in use since the Revolutionary War.
All were thrilled to see Martin dressed in a uniform from
the era, wielding a musket!!
The October 15, 2015 meeting, held at the Italian Center,
featured Dr. Alison Nohara, a neurosurgeon from
Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
In a popular husband and wife event, she spoke on
new procedures to treat stroke patients.
Rabbi Eliazar Langer of the Congregtion Schomre Israel
gave the club an inspiring presentation at the
September 9, 2015, meeting, which was held at the
November 4, 2015: Julie and David Gorlewski,
from SUNY New Paltz, will discuss the Common
Core controversy. Julie and David are Professors
of Education. Their talk is titled,
"Knowledge,Standards, and Standardization:
Complicating the Common Core."
November 18, 2015: Chevra Kaddisha
December 9, 2015: County Executive Marc Molinaro
